Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dermod Ghee kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Breaghdha Lester sped through Leap FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brefni Doyle. If Fionntán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Morrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Donavin Barrett made a huge save. Dermod Ghee received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donavin Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Dermod Ghee slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Patrick Morrison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leap FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fionntán Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brefni Doyle having to interfere. Breaghdha Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breaghdha Lester was the one to do the kick off. When Joseph Hamilton fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leap FC's protests and gave Joseph Hamilton a yellow card for diving instead. Joseph Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Leap FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breaghdha Lester came free, but Brefni Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Breaghdha Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loskeran's supporters rose to their feet, but Breaghdha Lester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brefni Doyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ciarán Perth put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Donavin Barrett. Fionntán Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brefni Doyle came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Loskeran's Fionntán Murphy. But to his dismay, Fionntán Murphy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 75th play minutes Breaghdha Lester shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Brefni Doyle and just under the crossbar into goal. Breaghdha Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brefni Doyle having to interfere. Brefni Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fionntán Murphy in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Leap FC's Irving Brennan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Fionntán Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Brefni Doyle made a huge save. Loskeran's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
