Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bras McCready got the match started through his kick off. The Leap FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Leap FC's Ciarán Perth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan McPeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brefni Doyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan McPeter ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 12 minutes, Dermod Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leap FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dermod Ghee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ciarán Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dermod Ghee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciarán Perth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Reagan McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Bras McCready ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brefni Doyle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Dermod Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leap FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dermod Ghee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reagan McNamara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Donagheumper's goal looked a bit too open when Dermod Ghee came free, but Reagan McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bras McCready struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Brefni Doyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donagheumper. After a rather tough play, Donagheumper's Ardán Hughes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Leap FC's Caoilte Hamilton broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Donagheumper's Beolagh McJohn got a free kick in the 45th minute. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Leap FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Matthews didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Jonathan McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brefni Doyle having to interfere. If Dermod Ghee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bairre Perth hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Caoilte Hamilton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reagan McNamara. Donagheumper's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Bras McCready came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Donagheumper fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bras McCready couldn't finish the play. Jonathan McPeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brefni Doyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan McPeter ran back to his position shaking his head. After 74 minutes, Dermod Ghee made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Donagheumper's Reagan McNamara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan McPeter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Brefni Doyle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ciarán Perth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Reagan McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97th play minutes Dermod Ghee shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Reagan McNamara and just under the crossbar into goal.
