Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leap FC's Dermod Ghee started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ciarán Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dermod Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leap FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dermod Ghee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Branson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dermod Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kieran Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seán McPhilip during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Kilteely got a freekick which was hit by Seán McPhilip. 24 minutes into the match, Ciarán Perth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kieran Branson, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flann Colwell in the 30th minute of play forced Leap FC's goalkeeper Brefni Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kilteely's Gearroid Gillmour in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leap FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Leap FC's Irving Brennan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ciarán Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Branson having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Dermod Ghee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flann Colwell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciarán Perth scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kieran Branson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kieran Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dermod Ghee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nolen MaCollin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Ciarán Perth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilteely's Kieran Branson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dermod Ghee struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Kieran Branson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leap FC. Nolen MaCollin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kilteely's zone, Ciarán Perth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Branson came out of the goal and Ciarán Perth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes of play, Leap FC's Dermod Ghee made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
