Shannon Mulvihill made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braedon Benson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Indreabhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bivitas McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braedon Benson in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ailill Cronin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Killachonna's Shannon Mulvihill got control of the ball when Aubrey McJon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Tiomoid Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killachonna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiomoid Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shannon Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aubrey McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
