Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bevin Cassin started the match with the kick off. Gill MaCollin charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gill MaCollin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Raheenagh got a freekick which was hit by Gill MaCollin. Brasil McBjarton was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Harrington Mulvihill. The supporters of Sessiagh Utd booed when Raheenagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradner McJohnny during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute of the match Harrington Mulvihill shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brasil McBjarton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Raheenagh's zone, Boroimhe Brennan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brasil McBjarton came out of the goal and Boroimhe Brennan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gill MaCollin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Gill MaCollin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Reagan Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Becan Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raheenagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Becan Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raheenagh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Boroimhe Brennan scored to the left of an out of position Brasil McBjarton, making the score, 2-0. Bevin Cassin's late challenge caught a Sessiagh Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bevin Cassin helped the player get up and apologised. Sessiagh Utd's Harrington Mulvihill couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Raheenagh. The supporters of Sessiagh Utd booed when Raheenagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryleigh McLian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reagan Coyle in the 42nd minute of play forced Sessiagh Utd's goalkeeper Ryley McDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Reagan Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raheenagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reagan Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boroimhe Brennan made a kick off. A collision led to Sessiagh Utd getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fiachra O'Down hit a great ball. Raheenagh's Ryleigh McLian couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sessiagh Utd. Reagan Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Ryley McDonald managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Raheenagh's Reagan Coyle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ryley McDonald made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Reagan Coyle sent off a good shot on target. Reagan Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryley McDonald having to interfere. Becan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Sessiagh Utd's goalkeeper Ryley McDonald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reagan Coyle. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bevin Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raheenagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Bevin Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryley McDonald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Fiachra O'Down hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Reagan Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes in the game, Reagan Coyle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ryley McDonald having to interfere. Raheenagh's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sessiagh Utd had won, even though Raheenagh had held more of the ball.
