Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Braedon Benson got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Killachonna booed when Brennanshill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beartlai Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barley Ryan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Braedon Benson's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Barley Ryan came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Killachonna's Tiomoid Prunty. But to his dismay, Tiomoid Prunty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gilbert Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Mulvihill having to interfere. When Braedon Benson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Killachonna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedon Benson couldn't finish the play. Barley Ryan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiomoid Prunty in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Braedon Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barley Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Mulvihill having to interfere. Gilbert Hamilton hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Tiomoid Prunty's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Barley Ryan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Killachonna's Shannon Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Hamilton in the 37th minute of play. Braedon Benson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barley Ryan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Killachonna's Braedon Benson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Barley Ryan made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tiomoid Prunty sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Killachonna got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Bayes. Shannon Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Hamilton , who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Tiomoid Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Barley Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute of the match Breanne McPhilip shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shannon Mulvihill showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Braedon Benson came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Killachonna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedon Benson couldn't finish the play. Killachonna's Tiomoid Prunty got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braedon Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Barley Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brennanshill FC's Barley Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braedon Benson in the 94th minute of play. If Braedon Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Killachonna's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
