Raheenagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Caimin McBrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reginald McDecland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bevin Cassin in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Reagan Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raheenagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Reagan Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginald McDecland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Caoilte Jameson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laught and the Raheenagh players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caoilte Jameson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bevin Cassin in the 22nd minute of play forced Laught's goalkeeper Reginald McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Fionntán McJohnny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laught's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raheenagh the free kick. Fionntán McJohnny kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Reginald McDecland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bevin Cassin went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bevin Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald McDecland having to interfere. A collision led to Laught getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fionntán McJohnny hit a great ball. Reginald McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bevin Cassin in the 35th minute of play. Fionntán McJohnny kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gill MaCollin in the 38th minute of play forced Laught's goalkeeper Reginald McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reagan Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bevin Cassin in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginald McDecland saved Laught from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Terry Savic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Laught's Reginald McDecland got control of the ball when Reagan Coyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 minutes, Gill MaCollin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raheenagh and the Laught players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience cheered when Pat Palmer's long shot passed Brasil McBjarton's right side. It was 2-1, 58 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Reginald McDecland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Reginald McDecland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bevin Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bevin Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Reginald McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Bevin Cassin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bevin Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Laught's goal looked a bit too open when Bevin Cassin came free, but Reginald McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Raheenagh's Reginald McDecland threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gill MaCollin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bevin Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Laught support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
