Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salmon Hutton started the match with the kick off. In the 8thth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sessiagh Utd's Ryley McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Salmon Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Strade's Salmon Hutton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryley McDonald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Strade's goal looked a bit too open when Emmet Sheridan came free, but Reagan Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawd McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryley McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bevan Holt in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salmon Hutton in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryley McDonald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27thth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sessiagh Utd's Ryley McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Strade booed when Sessiagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shey Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sessiagh Utd's Pauric Dimson got a free kick in the 34th minute. Salmon Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryley McDonald having to interfere. Salmon Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ryley McDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sessiagh Utd's zone, Bevan Holt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryley McDonald came out of the goal and Bevan Holt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Salmon Hutton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sessiagh Utd's Ryley McDonald. Ryley McDonald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fiachra O'Down made a kick off. Salmon Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ryley McDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Salmon Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Salmon Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salmon Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st match minute, Sessiagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ainnle Costello to maneuver through the defense. Bevan Holt might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryley McDonald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bevan Holt ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 66 in the game by Salmon Hutton from a close distance when the talented Ryley McDonald managed to make a qualified save. Sessiagh Utd's players were relieved. The Strade fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Strade's Salmon Hutton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72ndth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sessiagh Utd's Ryley McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes Salmon Hutton could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-5 into the left cross. A collision led to Sessiagh Utd getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Peadair McGlynn hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Braoin McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braoin McGlenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Ryley McDonald successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Strade's Bevan Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Brenan Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Strade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brenan Cassin couldn't finish the play. Salmon Hutton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Ryley McDonald skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Sessiagh Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Strade were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
