In the 5thth minute of the game Braedon Benson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chapeltown's Barran Keegan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brenden McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Killachonna's Tiomoid Prunty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barran Keegan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute Tiomoid Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barran Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiomoid Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barran Keegan having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Braedon Benson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chapeltown's Barran Keegan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 played minutes Killachonna got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Willson. Shannon Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bressail McBjarton in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Barr Deery shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barran Keegan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Chapeltown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Killachonna were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braedon Benson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Tiomoid Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killachonna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiomoid Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braedon Benson in the 53rd minute of play forced Chapeltown's goalkeeper Barran Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Tiomoid Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Chapeltown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardán McPaul to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, Killachonna's Kevin Willson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Barran Keegan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Killachonna reached it. Braedon Benson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barran Keegan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Braedon Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barran Keegan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chapeltown's Ardán McPaul got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Tiomoid Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braedon Benson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barran Keegan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiomoid Prunty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barran Keegan having to make a save. Tiomoid Prunty in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Barran Keegan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapeltown's goalkeeper Barran Keegan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Chapeltown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardán McPaul to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chapeltown's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Willson was slow to take the kick. During this time Killachonna's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Teris McSteven got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Barran Keegan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
