After having played for 15 minutes, Salmon Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salmon Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Finn Crowe during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Finn Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salmon Hutton in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ailill Cronin saved Indreabhan from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Bivitas McPhilip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indreabhan and the Strade players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Indreabhan getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bivitas McPhilip hit a great ball. Reagan Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brasil McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ailill Cronin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ailill Cronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salmon Hutton in the 43rd minute of play. When Salmon Hutton came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Strade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salmon Hutton couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salmon Hutton made a kick off. Salmon Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailill Cronin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bin Ferguson during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Strade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thurl Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Indreabhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torey Branson to maneuver through the defense. Finn Crowe was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Strade booed when Indreabhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Beollan Doyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strade's supporters rose to their feet, but Beollan Doyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ailill Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pawd McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailill Cronin having to interfere. Bivitas McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bivitas McPhilip was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. Bivitas McPhilip hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Petran McVictor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Indreabhan's zone, Salmon Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ailill Cronin came out of the goal and Salmon Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Indreabhan's Ailill Cronin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salmon Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ailill Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beollan Doyle came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Strade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beollan Doyle couldn't finish the play. Strade's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
