Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Strade's Bevan Holt fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salmon Hutton in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginald McDecland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braoin McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginald McDecland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawd McCready in the 13th minute of the match. Salmon Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Reginald McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawd McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginald McDecland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thurl Cassin went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Salmon Hutton made a precise shot to the right of Reginald McDecland. Laught's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salmon Hutton in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginald McDecland saved Laught from getting behind. If Pawd McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Salmon Hutton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginald McDecland was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terry Savic made a kick off. Brannen Walker hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Strade booed when Laught was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkley Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Laught's goal looked a bit too open when Bevan Holt came free, but Reginald McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Brannen Walker came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Strade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannen Walker couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Salmon Hutton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Salmon Hutton in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reginald McDecland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Brannen Walker struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Reginald McDecland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strade. In the 74thth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laught's Reginald McDecland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bevan Holt came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Strade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bevan Holt couldn't finish the play. In the 79thth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laught's Reginald McDecland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salmon Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald McDecland having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Pawd McCready got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 85 minutes into the game, Donegal Palmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laught's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strade the free kick. 84 minutes into the game, one of Laught:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Reginald McDecland went to the wrong direction when Bevan Holt was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 88 played minutes Laught got a freekick which was hit by Terry Savic. Salmon Hutton kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 89thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Laught's keeper Reginald McDecland was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 90th minute Salmon Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginald McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Salmon Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Bevan Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strade's supporters rose to their feet, but Bevan Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginald McDecland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Strade left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Laught.
