The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Chapeltown's goal looked a bit too open when Aban Benson came free, but Barran Keegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ailill Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bressail McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Bivitas McPhilip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barran Keegan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 34th minute Aban Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barran Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aubrey McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Indreabhan's Ailill Cronin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bressail McBjarton in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Chapeltown's goal looked a bit too open when Aban Benson came free, but Barran Keegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Barran Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aban Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Donlevy McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapeltown's supporters rose to their feet, but Donlevy McLian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ailill Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Donlevy McLian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ailill Cronin. Indreabhan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donlevy McLian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Brasil McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Barran Keegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indreabhan. After a rather tough play, Chapeltown's Brenden McFrank got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Indreabhan's Aubrey McJon made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barran Keegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barran Keegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aban Benson in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bressail McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapeltown's supporters rose to their feet, but Bressail McBjarton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ailill Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Chapeltown's goalkeeper Barran Keegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aubrey McJon. When Brenden McFrank fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapeltown's protests and gave Brenden McFrank a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Indreabhan booed when Chapeltown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenden McFrank didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Aubrey McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indreabhan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aubrey McJon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aban Benson in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barran Keegan saved Chapeltown from getting behind. Barran Keegan made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Aubrey McJon sent off a good shot on target. Aubrey McJon struck a weak shot in the 89th minute.
