The supporters of Drumcoura AFC booed when Grogagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyne McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 17 in the game by Bivadas Sheridan from a close distance when the talented Lorcan McNamee managed to make a qualified save. Grogagh's players were relieved. Lorcan McNamee made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Treno Martyn sent off a good shot on target. After 20 minutes of play, Grogagh's Lewis Dempsey made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bairne McFrancise was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Bivadas Sheridan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lorcan McNamee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyton Todd in the 35th minute of play forced Grogagh's goalkeeper Lorcan McNamee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Bivadas Sheridan made a precise shot to the right of Lorcan McNamee. Grogagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Dempsey in the 41st minute of play forced Drumcoura AFC's goalkeeper Bairne McFrancise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorcan McNamee was a little too slow when Bivadas Sheridan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 47th minute, Drumcoura AFC's Phelan McTommy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Phelan McTommy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Drumcoura AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Phelan McTommy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Drumcoura AFC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Phelan McTommy hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boyne McPhilip to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bivadas Sheridan in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorcan McNamee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The long shot by Braedon Ryan in the 62nd minute really tested Bairne McFrancise's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Grogagh getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Benedict Hughes hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Drumcoura AFC's Peyton Todd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorcan McNamee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 71st minute, Breaghdha Gallagher made a precise shot to the right of Bairne McFrancise. Drumcoura AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. The supporters of Grogagh booed when Drumcoura AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyton Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Grogagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Hughes to maneuver through the defense. Donan McFrancise kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Bivadas Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Drumcoura AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
