Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beehan McCready made the kick off and thus started the match. Riversdale's Antaine McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breaghdha Gallagher in the 12th minute of play. Boylan Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lorcan McNamee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorcan McNamee made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Boylan Hunt sent off a good shot on target. Boylan Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorcan McNamee having to interfere. Antaine McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breaghdha Gallagher in the 26th minute of the match. If Beehan McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boylan Hunt scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorcan McNamee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot by Ennis Silke from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Lorcan McNamee's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With an all-out effort, Riversdale's Lorcan McNamee threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beehan McCready, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lorcan McNamee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boylan Hunt in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Grogagh's Lorcan McNamee got control of the ball when Boylan Hunt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Beehan McCready fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lorcan McNamee, passed just outside the right post. After 45 played minutes Grogagh got a freekick which was hit by Theobald Dunne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beehan McCready in the 46th minute of play forced Grogagh's goalkeeper Lorcan McNamee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Riversdale's goal looked a bit too open when Boyne McPhilip came free, but Antaine McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Grogagh booed when Riversdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phelan McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Boylan Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorcan McNamee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Riversdale booed when Grogagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Riversdale's goal looked a bit too open when Boyne McPhilip came free, but Antaine McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riversdale's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ennis Silke in the 70th minute. The corner ended in Ennis Silke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grogagh's Lorcan McNamee did a great save. In the 70th minute, Breaghdha Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Beehan McCready notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Grogagh's Lorcan McNamee. Lorcan McNamee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the last second Antaine McIan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Boyne McPhilip in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beehan McCready in the 81st minute of play forced Grogagh's goalkeeper Lorcan McNamee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Riversdale's corner Ennis Silke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lorcan McNamee quite easily take care of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Grogagh's goal looked a bit too open when Boylan Hunt came free, but Lorcan McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Grogagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braedon Ryan to maneuver through the defense. Boylan Hunt scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorcan McNamee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyne McPhilip in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antaine McIan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boyne McPhilip in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antaine McIan saved Riversdale from getting behind. Riversdale walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
