Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Braoin Costello took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald Kirby in the 3rd minute of play forced Kinsaley FC's goalkeeper Caolán McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennedy Tracy hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Caolán McDecland made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gerald Kirby sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Felim Gallagher in the 14th minute really tested Caolán McDecland's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ryley Gollogley hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kinsaley FC's Rorke Branson got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Duggan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caolán McDecland saved Kinsaley FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Kinsaley FC's Caolán McDecland got control of the ball when Bannon Ryan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Aaron McGlenn made a precise shot to the right of Iarla McDonald. Coolbanagher's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Coolbanagher's Iarla McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braoin Costello in the 34th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Kinsaley FC got a freekick which was hit by Shane Frankson. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Caolán McDecland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Coolbanagher players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kinsaley FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Duggan made a kick off. The supporters of Kinsaley FC booed when Coolbanagher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryley Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braoin Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iarla McDonald having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Coolbanagher's Bannon Ryan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caolán McDecland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felim Gallagher made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bannon Ryan however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Braoin Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinsaley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braoin Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iarla McDonald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braoin Costello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Iarla McDonald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Kinsaley FC got a freekick which was hit by Rorke Branson. Bannon Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Iarla McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braoin Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Braoin Costello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iarla McDonald was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Kinsaley FC defense, Ryley Gollogley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caolán McDecland. The Kinsaley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caolán McDecland should have stopped the shot. Gerald Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caolán McDecland having to interfere. Coolbanagher were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
