Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Baiscend Dunne made the kick off which started today's match. Baiscend Dunne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 minutes of play, Palatine's Baiscend Dunne made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desmond O'Brien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desmond O'Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baiscend Dunne in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Keeghan Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blaine O'Down might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearard Branson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blaine O'Down ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Palatine getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Teagan Cronin hit a great ball. When Bohannon Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gouldavoher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bohannon Byrne couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Gouldavoher's goal looked a bit too open when Flannery McJames came free, but Desmond O'Brien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Gouldavoher got a freekick which was hit by Torna Gillmour. After having played for 47 minutes, Baiscend Dunne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palatine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baiscend Dunne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Gouldavoher players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palatine were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blaine O'Down was the one to do the kick off. Gearard Branson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bohannon Byrne in the 52nd minute of play. Baiscend Dunne did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Desmond O'Brien 54 minutes into the match. Palatine's Flannery McJames got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teagan Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gouldavoher's Blaine O'Down got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blaine O'Down sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flannery McJames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Desmond O'Brien made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaine O'Down in the 76th minute of play forced Palatine's goalkeeper Gearard Branson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes in the game, Baiscend Dunne fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Desmond O'Brien having to interfere. Desmond O'Brien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flannery McJames in the 79th minute. 80 minutes in the game, Baiscend Dunne fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Desmond O'Brien having to interfere. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Flannery McJames sped through Gouldavoher's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Desmond O'Brien. Palatine's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
