After 39 minutes, Keeghan Murphy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gouldavoher and the Skenahincha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Breck Mullan in the 40th minute really tested Desmond O'Brien's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Ciarán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciarán Murphy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Desmond O'Brien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berrin McWillie in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Skenahincha FC defense, Bohannon Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suibhne Branson. The Skenahincha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suibhne Branson should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes, Skenahincha FC's Barde Gallagher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desmond O'Brien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skenahincha FC reached it. Berrin McWillie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desmond O'Brien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Irwin McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Desmond O'Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Bohannon Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gouldavoher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bohannon Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harrigan Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suibhne Branson having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play Gouldavoher's Keeghan Murphy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Gouldavoher getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Keeghan Murphy hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berrin McWillie in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desmond O'Brien saved Gouldavoher from getting behind. Ciarán Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Bohannon Byrne got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gouldavoher's goalkeeper Desmond O'Brien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Skenahincha FC's Ciarán Murphy in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gouldavoher's goalie prevented a goal. The Gouldavoher players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Skenahincha FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
