Grogagh's Lorcan McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciarán Murphy in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berrin McWillie in the 20th minute of play forced Grogagh's goalkeeper Lorcan McNamee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Berrin McWillie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grogagh's Lorcan McNamee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Skenahincha FC's goalkeeper Suibhne Branson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breaghdha Gallagher. After a rather tough play, Grogagh's Lewis Dempsey got a free kick in the 31st minute. Breaghdha Gallagher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Suibhne Branson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breaghdha Gallagher got free with Suibhne Branson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breaghdha Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suibhne Branson having to interfere.
