Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 8th minute Gerald Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine McIan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Beehan McCready fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riversdale's protests and gave Beehan McCready a yellow card for diving instead. Beehan McCready hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Antaine McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Riversdale's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Duggan came free, but Antaine McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Riversdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett Duggan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Beehan McCready managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riversdale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beehan McCready was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phelan McStephen's late challenge caught a Coolbanagher's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phelan McStephen helped the player get up and apologised. If Gerald Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Boylan Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riversdale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boylan Hunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boylan Hunt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Iarla McDonald made a huge save. When Gerald Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Coolbanagher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerald Kirby couldn't finish the play.

Antaine McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Duggan in the 51st minute of play. Coolbanagher's Iarla McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boylan Hunt in the 54th minute of play. Riversdale's Antaine McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Duggan in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Kennedy Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antaine McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Duggan in the 64th minute of the match. Gerald Kirbys short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Antaine McIan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Beehan McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iarla McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boylan Hunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Iarla McDonald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beehan McCready's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
