Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes in the game, Becc McAaron dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Comhghall Mullan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brin Holt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Beairtle Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Becc McAaron fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Blanche O'Neill, passed just outside the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Inishnaneill's goal looked a bit too open when Beairtle Gollogley came free, but Blanche O'Neill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beairtle Gollogley in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blanche O'Neill saved Inishnaneill from getting behind. Brin Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Comhghall Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beairtle Gollogley in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blanche O'Neill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Inishnaneill's Beamard Tracy got a free kick in the 35th minute. Becc McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Beairtle Gollogley sped through Inishnaneill's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blanche O'Neill. The supporters of Knockanare booed when Inishnaneill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binean McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knockanare's Tevin Hutton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Blanche O'Neill but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Brin Holt made the kick off in the second half. When Knockanare's Beairtle Gollogley in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 55th minute Beairtle Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blanche O'Neill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beairtle Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanche O'Neill having to interfere. When Knockanare's Becc McAaron in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Knockanare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Becc McAaron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blanche O'Neill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Becc McAaron in the 79th minute of the match. Beairtle Gollogley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blanche O'Neill having to make a save. If Becc McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
