Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Turlough McPhil started the match with the kick off. Donavon Doherty kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Rigan Tierney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laught Utd's Boethis Glen Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Tierney in the 13th minute of play. Donn Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Becc Kelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rigan Tierney struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Boethis Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roo FC. Boethis Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Roo FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Torrey Grant hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Donavon Doherty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 minutes, Donavon Doherty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roo FC and the Laught Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roo FC's Donavon Doherty got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Banban Benson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Roo FC's Donn Savic. Donn Savic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donn Savic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Banban Benson in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Roo FC got a freekick which was hit by Declan Perth. 37 minutes into the match, Roo FC's Rigan Tierney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boethis Glen Crowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peter Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roo FC's Peter Dillon got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Declan Perth charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Declan Perth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Peter Dillon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boethis Glen Crowe. Laught Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Dillon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Boethis Glen Crowe came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Roo FC's Peter Dillon. But to his dismay, Peter Dillon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Peter Dillon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Boethis Glen Crowe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Tierney in the 67th minute of play forced Laught Utd's goalkeeper Boethis Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Turlough McPhil put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Donn Savic. Banban Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Donn Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laught Utd's Boethis Glen Crowe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Laught Utd from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Declan Perth in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boethis Glen Crowe saved Laught Utd from getting behind. The supporters of Roo FC booed when Laught Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkeley Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boethis Glen Crowe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Dillon in the 89th minute. The supporters of Laught Utd booed when Roo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Declan Perth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laught Utd's Becc Kelly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Roo FC. The Roo FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Laught Utd from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
