Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berrigan McSteven took the kick off in the first half of the match. When John Ryan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cloncagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Ryan couldn't finish the play. Barhart McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berrigan McSteven in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berrigan McSteven in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barhart McCollion saved Cloncagh from getting behind. John Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brayden Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bressal Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bressal Lavine in the 29th minute of play forced Grangeford's goalkeeper Brayden Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brannon Dillon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Barhart McCollion firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paud Palmer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Berrigan McSteven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barhart McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berrigan McSteven in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grangeford's zone, Bressal Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brayden Harkin came out of the goal and Bressal Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Ryan in the 48th minute of play forced Grangeford's goalkeeper Brayden Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bressal Lavine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brayden Harkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, John Ryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brayden Harkin. Grangeford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Ryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Grangeford's goalkeeper Brayden Harkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Ryan. In the 63rd match minute, Cloncagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudibiua McOliver to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cloncagh getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Boudibiua McOliver hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Cloncagh's Bressal Lavine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brayden Harkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bressal Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Brayden Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Grangeford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennan McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. Ryon McSteve took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brayden Harkin. Brayden Harkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cloncagh played a much better game than Grangeford and deserved their victory. The Grangeford players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
