When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peyton McFrancise made a kick off. Torrey Grant who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Beacan Byrne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Knockfola FC booed when Ballygodboy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn McVictor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berach Mullan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rorry McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Peyton McFrancise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beacan Byrne made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Torrey Grant sent off a good shot on target. Beacan Byrne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bragan Dalton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. Torrey Grant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beacan Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bragan Dalton in the 69th minute of play. Berach Mullan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rorry McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Bragan Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knockfola FC's goalkeeper Beacan Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Knockfola FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Tipraite MaCollin hit a great ball. Ballygodboy's Bragan Dalton got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Caroll Branson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knockfola FC and the Ballygodboy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Knockfola FC got a freekick which was hit by Caroll Branson. The Knockfola FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ballygodboy's performance. The match ended with a win for Ballygodboy.
