Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Banvan Cronin kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Owning's zone, Conn MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bera Murphy came out of the goal and Conn MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bera Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conn MaCollin in the 11th minute of the match. Dungloe's Blathmacc Brennan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baodan Taylor in the 12th minute of play. If Bartley Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Bar Gollogley sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Owning's Bera Murphy didn't even have to move. Conn MaCollin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes, Tierney Ghee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dungloe and the Owning players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blathmacc Brennan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banvan Cronin in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Dungloe's goal looked a bit too open when Baodan Taylor came free, but Blathmacc Brennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Owning's Banvan Cronin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tierney Ghee kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Roy McCready, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 35 played minutes Dungloe got a freekick which was hit by Tierney Ghee. Blathmacc Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Banvan Cronin in the 38th minute of play. Dungloe's Conn MaCollin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Baodan Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmacc Brennan having to interfere. The referee gave Owning a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roy McCready, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dungloe's Blathmacc Brennan. 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Owning's goal looked a bit too open when Conn MaCollin came free, but Bera Murphy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bera Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartley Dempsey in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Conn MaCollin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bera Murphy was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Bera Murphy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conn MaCollin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartley Dempsey in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bera Murphy saved Owning from getting behind. If Banvan Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Banvan Cronin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blathmacc Brennan. Banvan Cronin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Banvan Cronin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Banvan Cronin struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Blathmacc Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Owning. When Dungloe's Conn MaCollin in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Owning's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 played minutes Owning got a freekick which was hit by Royan Cronin. After having played for 90 minutes, Bar Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dungloe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bar Gollogley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bartley Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dungloe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Owning's performance. The match ended with a win for Owning.
