Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toran Molloy got the match started through his kick off. Donoghue Caffrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawd McLaughlin in the 3rd minute of the match. Bardan Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Cluid's goalkeeper Donoghue Caffrey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bardan Robinson. In the 10th minute Beara Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torrans Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Loughamore's goal looked a bit too open when Toran Molloy came free, but Torrans Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bardan Robinson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donoghue Caffrey firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Cluid's Gearalt Caffey got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samueil Ryan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donoghue Caffrey saved Cluid from getting behind. Samueil Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Cluid's Toran Molloy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torrans Morrison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Loughamore defense, Beara Hughes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torrans Morrison. The Loughamore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torrans Morrison should have stopped the shot. Torrans Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Bardan Robinson struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Donoghue Caffrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loughamore. Bardan Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Donoghue Caffrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Samueil Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loughamore's supporters rose to their feet, but Samueil Ryan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donoghue Caffrey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bardan Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bardan Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donoghue Caffrey having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samueil Ryan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torrans Morrison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toran Molloy's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Flann Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Toran Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torrans Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Cluid's Toran Molloy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Beara Hughes might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torrans Morrison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beara Hughes ran back to his position shaking his head. Toran Molloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torrans Morrison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Torrans Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Samueil Ryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donoghue Caffrey was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Bardan Robinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loughamore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Beara Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bardan Robinson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Loughamore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bardan Robinson couldn't finish the play. Loughamore's Flann Caffey suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theodore Lavine during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Cluid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodore Lavine to maneuver through the defense.
