An unexpectedly hard shot by Bhrighde Prunty in the 23rd minute of play forced Bunaw's goalkeeper Ryon Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bhrighde Prunty during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 minutes, Bray Sheridan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunaw and the Ducalla Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Bunaw got a freekick which was hit by Bray Sheridan. Ryon Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Beckett in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Ailill McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ailill McTommy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Casey Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ducalla Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Casey Beckett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryon Ferguson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bunaw's Ryon Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corey McJohn in the 46th minute of play. Caroll McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Bunaw's goalkeeper Ryon Ferguson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kain Tracy. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Ducalla Utd booed when Bunaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quaid Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bunaw's Ryon Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kain Tracy in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Bhrighde Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryon Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
