Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blathmacc Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Hottiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Nick Joeris notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dungloe's Blathmacc Brennan. Blathmacc Brennan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th match minute, Tyholland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiarnan Bayes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tyholland FC's zone, Conn MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royan Frankson came out of the goal and Conn MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Nick Joeris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dungloe's Blathmacc Brennan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blathmacc Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Hottiger in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Joeris during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tyholland FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Shiel Gough hit a great ball. Dungloe's Bar Gollogley got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Tyholland FC got a freekick which was hit by Berkeley Duggan. Tyholland FC's Nick Joeris got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renato Hottiger struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Blathmacc Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tyholland FC. Royan Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conn MaCollin in the 40th minute of play. Nick Joeris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Derry McLiam lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Augusto Matteucci walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Nick Joeris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Dungloe's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Joeris came free, but Blathmacc Brennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Tyholland FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartley Dempsey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cormac McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Tyholland FC's Nick Joeris fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Finnigan McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Blathmacc Brennan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Hottiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Renato Hottiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Blathmacc Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tierney Ghee kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Augusto Matteucci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blathmacc Brennan came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Matteucci slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Augusto Matteucci fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick Joeris in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blathmacc Brennan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Renato Hottiger came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tyholland FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Hottiger couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dungloe's Tierney Ghee got a free kick in the 87th minute. The Dungloe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tyholland FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
