Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gearard Barrett took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Toran Molloy came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cluid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toran Molloy couldn't finish the play. Finian Costello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Donoghue Caffrey made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Drumlave's zone, Beara Hughes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairee McStephen came out of the goal and Beara Hughes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bairee McStephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toran Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Cluid's Toran Molloy in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drumlave's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gearard Barrett in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donoghue Caffrey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Drumlave's goal looked a bit too open when Toran Molloy came free, but Bairee McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Beara Hughes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumlave's Bairee McStephen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donoghue Caffrey made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Finian Costello sent off a good shot on target. Toran Molloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bairee McStephen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Beara Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Toran Molloy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cluid's supporters rose to their feet, but Toran Molloy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairee McStephen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Drumlave's Bardon Ghee got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Dane Hughes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Drumlave's Bairee McStephen didn't even have to move. After 41 played minutes Drumlave got a freekick which was hit by Sean McPeter. After some careless play in the Drumlave defense, Toran Molloy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bairee McStephen . The Drumlave fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bairee McStephen should have stopped the shot. The Drumlave players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cluid were winning 0-1.

Cluid's Toran Molloy got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Drumlave getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bardon Ghee hit a great ball. Toran Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Beara Hughes came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cluid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beara Hughes couldn't finish the play. Beara Hughes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Bairee McStephen 62 minutes into the match. Drumlave's Bairee McStephen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Drumlave from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Beara Hughes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 69 in the game by Beara Hughes from a close distance when the talented Bairee McStephen managed to make a qualified save. Drumlave's players were relieved. In the 73rd minute, Drumlave's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beara Hughes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 78th match minute, Drumlave was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bardon Ghee to maneuver through the defense. Beara Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cluid getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Theodore Lavine hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Tipper McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lee Perth's late challenge caught a Cluid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Perth helped the player get up and apologised. Beara Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bairee McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Toran Molloy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cluid's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
