Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tormaigh Dimson kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Drumnakilly AFC's zone, Riley Willson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beairtle Mullan came out of the goal and Riley Willson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tormaigh Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Annavalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tipraite McWillie to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Breccan Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tipraite McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tipraite McWillie came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Annavalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tipraite McWillie couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Drumnakilly AFC's Eamonn O'Down got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Brefni Ferguson made a precise shot to the right of Beairtle Mullan. Drumnakilly AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Devlin McGlynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tormaigh Dimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brefni Ferguson in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beairtle Mullan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brefni Ferguson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Beairtle Mullan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annavalla.

When Annavalla's Brefni Ferguson in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drumnakilly AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Beairtle Mullan managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Annavalla's Riley Willson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brefni Ferguson might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beairtle Mullan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brefni Ferguson ran back to his position shaking his head. Drumnakilly AFC's Beairtle Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brefni Ferguson in the 74th minute of play. If Riley Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Drumnakilly AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brannan McNamee. 85 minutes into the match, Tormaigh Dimson notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Annavalla's Devlin McGlynn. Devlin McGlynn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beairtle Mullan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brefni Ferguson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brannan McNamee hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Riley Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Annavalla's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Annavalla may have spent more time on the ball, but Drumnakilly AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
