Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blar Prunty took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Palmer in the 6th minute of play forced Fews's goalkeeper Braon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braon Horgan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Glentogher's Lewy Palmer. But to his dismay, Lewy Palmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Blar Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fews's Braon Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Blar Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Fews's goal looked a bit too open when George Palmer came free, but Braon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Binne Silke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fews's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glentogher the free kick. After 21 played minutes Fews got a freekick which was hit by Binne Silke. Suibhne Doyle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Braon Horgan came out and tried to block the shot, but Suibhne Doyle slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Pawd Hughes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Fews's Braon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Fews from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Fews booed when Glentogher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Becan Lavine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Glentogher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bressail Rutherford to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fews's zone, Blar Prunty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braon Horgan came out of the goal and Blar Prunty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lewy Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braon Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blar Prunty's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Brenden Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Becan Lavine in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blar Prunty in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braon Horgan saved Fews from getting behind. Iarla McNamara kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Blar Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon Horgan having to interfere. Suibhne Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Braon Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blar Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon Horgan having to interfere. If Blar Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brenden Doyle made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Brenden Grant sent off a good shot on target. In the 87thth minute of the game Blar Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fews's Braon Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Blar Prunty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fews's Braon Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Braon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewy Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brenden Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Becan Lavine in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Glentogher were the better team. Glentogher's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
