Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bean Lavine during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Bean Lavine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brakawn Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyle Walker in the 8th minute of the match. Brakawn Ghee came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloghatanny's Fionntán O'Brien. But to his dismay, Fionntán O'Brien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Killian McLaughlin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Brakawn Ghee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carrig McBrand went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Fionntán O'Brien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brakawn Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bean Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan Morrison having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carrig McBrand in the 44th minute of play forced Glasacken FC's goalkeeper Brakawn Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Carrig McBrand made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Glasacken FC's Brakawn Ghee got control of the ball when Fionntán O'Brien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brakawn Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carrig McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brakawn Ghee made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Quaid McVictor sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Cloghatanny's Carrig McBrand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brakawn Ghee. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. Bean Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Cloghatanny's Brakawn Ghee threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carrig McBrand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bean Lavine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kerrigan Morrison having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fionntán O'Brien kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brakawn Ghee. That made the score 1-4 in the 86 minute of play. Killian McLaughlin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Quaid McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brakawn Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Donelle Benson fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glasacken FC's protests and gave Donelle Benson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glasacken FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Donelle Benson hit a great ball. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloghatanny's goalkeeper Kerrigan Morrison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Cloghatanny could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Glasacken FC throughout the match.
