Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blar Prunty started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Annavalla's goalkeeper Devlin McGlynn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Glentogher's goal looked a bit too open when Nolyn Johnson came free, but Brenden Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Blar Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brenden Doyle came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Annavalla's Brefni Ferguson. But to his dismay, Brefni Ferguson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Annavalla got a freekick which was hit by Geary Quinnless. Devlin McGlynn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blar Prunty's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Blar Prunty who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Devlin McGlynn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lewy Palmer during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Glentogher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewy Palmer to maneuver through the defense. After 36th play minutes Blar Prunty shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Devlin McGlynn and just under the crossbar into goal. When Lewy Palmer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. After 40 played minutes Glentogher got a freekick which was hit by Lewy Palmer. The Glentogher players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Annavalla were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brefni Ferguson made a kick off. Devlin McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedilia Prunty in the 53rd minute of play. Devlin McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blar Prunty in the 55th minute of play. Blar Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Annavalla's zone, Blar Prunty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devlin McGlynn came out of the goal and Blar Prunty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Blar Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pawd Hughes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Riley Willson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Brenden Doyle made a huge save. When Glentogher's Blar Prunty in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Annavalla's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brefni Ferguson in the 71st minute of play forced Glentogher's goalkeeper Brenden Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Bressail Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blar Prunty scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Devlin McGlynn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Annavalla's goal looked a bit too open when Suibhne Doyle came free, but Devlin McGlynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geary Quinnless during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pawd Hughes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Blar Prunty might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Devlin McGlynn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blar Prunty ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Glentogher's Brenden Doyle got control of the ball when Riley Willson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glentogher were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
