Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) Becan Lavine started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Lorcan McAlphie notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fews's Braon Horgan. Braon Horgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oliver McLian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenden Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Lorcan McAlphie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon Horgan having to interfere. Brenden Grant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Drumconnick's Riddoc Frankson got a free kick in the 18th minute. Brendon McIan's late challenge caught a Fews's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendon McIan helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Drumconnick got a freekick which was hit by Brendon McIan. After having played for 22 minutes, Becan Lavine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fews's supporters crossed their fingers, but Becan Lavine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevion Caffrey struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Braon Horgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumconnick. In the 31st minute of the match Dawayne Delaney sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver McLian skillfully saved the ball. Bohannon McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Becan Lavine in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenden Grant in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Brenden Grant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Binne Silke's late challenge caught a Drumconnick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Binne Silke helped the player get up and apologised. Binne Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Brenden Grant came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Fews fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brenden Grant couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevion Caffrey to make the kick off. The supporters of Drumconnick booed when Fews was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Kelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 52 minutes, Lorcan McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumconnick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorcan McAlphie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Drumconnick's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brenden Grant fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Becan Lavine in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevion Caffrey in the 60th minute of play. Brenden Grant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver McLian having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Drumconnick:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fews:s goal. Braon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevion Caffrey in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, one of Drumconnick:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Drumconnick. Ennis Cassin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Braon Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorcan McAlphie went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Drumconnick's Oliver McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Becan Lavine in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Boddibevve McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Becan Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver McLian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorcan McAlphie in the 101st minute of play forced Fews's goalkeeper Braon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fews players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Drumconnick.
