The supporters of Ardmeen booed when Skeagh Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaynor Bayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bil McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boethis Perth in the 18th minute of play forced Skeagh Utd's goalkeeper Boru Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Binne McFrancise kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gaynor Bayes struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Thom Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skeagh Utd. When Cacey Tracy came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Skeagh Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cacey Tracy couldn't finish the play. Skeagh Utd's Boru Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boethis Perth in the 38th minute of play. Cacey Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Ardmeen's goalkeeper Thom Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacey Tracy.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacey Tracy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ardmeen's Binne McFrancise suffered a concussion after 52 minutes and had to leave the field. After 52 minutes, Philip Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skeagh Utd and the Ardmeen players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Gaynor Bayes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. A collision led to Skeagh Utd getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gaynor Bayes hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Cacey Tracy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Thom Ryan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adamnan McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Boru Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cian Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Boethis Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacey Tracy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thom Ryan having to make a save. Cacey Tracy might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thom Ryan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacey Tracy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Boethis Perth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
