Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Heron Horgan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Ryefield's Farrell Branson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pauric John made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 9th play minutes Farrell Branson shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Pauric John and just under the crossbar into goal. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Alex Caffrey with Donlan Kirby as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Farrell Branson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pauric John prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biviti Palmer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pauric John came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryefield's Teris Martyn. But to his dismay, Teris Martyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Teris Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brion Quinnless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Farrell Branson got free with Pauric John in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Farrell Branson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Pauric John was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ryefield getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kevinn McDonald hit a great ball. Farrell Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Bevin McNamee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ryefield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hollymount FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Ryefield got a freekick which was hit by Bevin McNamee.

The wind increased when Farrell Branson made the kick off in the second half. Teris Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Heron Benson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ryefield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hollymount FC the free kick. Heron Benson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Hollymount FC's Pauric John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farrell Branson in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Farrell Branson sped through Hollymount FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pauric John. After a rather tough play, Ryefield's Kevinn McDonald got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Farrell Branson took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pauric John. Pauric John dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 93rd minute Farrell Branson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pauric John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Farrell Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pauric John having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ryefield fully deserved thier win.
