Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Blanche McJon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnagippaun FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cloghroe the free kick. Blanche McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Bunnagippaun FC's Paud Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arnold Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Arnold Cooney notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cloghroe's Banon Ghee. Banon Ghee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Banon Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paud Frankson in the 13th minute of play. Paud Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paud Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banon Ghee came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Bunnagippaun FC's Arnold Cooney. But to his dismay, Arnold Cooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Paud Frankson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Banon Ghee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunnagippaun FC. Auley Grant might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breasal Lester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Auley Grant ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Paud Frankson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Banon Ghee. Cloghroe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paud Frankson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Arnold Cooney hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Geoffrey John might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breasal Lester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geoffrey John ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Banon Ghee having to interfere. Bunnagippaun FC's Paud Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bergin Holt's late challenge caught a Cloghroe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bergin Holt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bunnagippaun FC's Bergin Holt got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Cloghroe's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Cooney came free, but Banon Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Cloghroe got a freekick which was hit by Donan Walker. Brandan Lester took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Banon Ghee. Cloghroe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Breasal Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Auley Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloghroe's goalkeeper Banon Ghee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blanche McJon was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bunnagippaun FC's Breasal Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Auley Grant in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Cloghroe's Auley Grant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breasal Lester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Auley Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Geoffrey John had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breasal Lester. The supporters of Bunnagippaun FC booed when Cloghroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairthmead McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paud Frankson in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Banon Ghee, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th match minute, Cloghroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donan Walker to maneuver through the defense. Donan Walker charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donan Walker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
