Heron Horgan started the match with the kick off. Heron Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Britain Mulvihill didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beothach Murphy went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Britain Mulvihill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heron Horgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beothach Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britain Mulvihill having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Beothach Murphy 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Britain Mulvihill was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seoirse Rutherford got free with Pauric John in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pauric John was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Rorey McOliver capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rorey McOliver really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peyton Byrne during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pauric John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beartlai Ghee in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beartlai Ghee in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pauric John saved Hollymount FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seoirse Rutherford got free with Pauric John in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beartlai Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seoirse Rutherford struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pauric John didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falprobog Utd. Peyton Byrne hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th match minute, Hollymount FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adamnan Horgan to maneuver through the defense. If Beothach Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Beartlai Ghee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pauric John was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Britain Mulvihill made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Beothach Murphy sent off a good shot on target. Heron Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Seoirse Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pauric John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pauric John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beartlai Ghee in the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hollymount FC's Heron Horgan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Britain Mulvihill. That made the score 2-2 after 83 minutes of play. Beartlai Ghee struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Pauric John didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falprobog Utd. In the 92nd minute of the game, Triain McPaul landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Nolen Caffrey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falprobog Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hollymount FC the free kick. A collision led to Falprobog Utd getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nolen Caffrey hit a great ball. Falprobog Utd's Seoirse Rutherford got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
