Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Bola Jameson in the 3rd minute of play forced Dunbrin's goalkeeper Nollaig Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Kevinn McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Baird Taylor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Callaghan. Gortnakilly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baird Taylor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kevinn McIan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Nollaig Taylor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baird Taylor in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Callaghan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nollaig Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bola Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dunbrin's Baird Taylor in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gortnakilly's goalie prevented a goal. Lewis McPaul hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gortnakilly defense, Torna Keegan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Callaghan. The Gortnakilly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Callaghan should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Gortnakilly's goal looked a bit too open when Torna Keegan came free, but Dennis Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Baird Taylor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gortnakilly's Dennis Callaghan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glenn Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Bairrionn Tracy's late challenge caught a Dunbrin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bairrionn Tracy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gortnakilly's Bairrionn Tracy got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Dunbrin were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bola Jameson to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Gortnakilly's goalkeeper Dennis Callaghan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baird Taylor. Scott Quinnless struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dennis Callaghan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunbrin. Torna Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dennis Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Bola Jameson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortnakilly and the Dunbrin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Gortnakilly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bola Jameson to maneuver through the defense. Fergal Myler struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dennis Callaghan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunbrin. Torna Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baird Taylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Dennis Callaghan made a huge save. Baird Taylor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Dennis Callaghan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gortnakilly's Dennis Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baird Taylor in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torna Keegan got free with Dennis Callaghan in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89th play minutes Baird Taylor shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Dennis Callaghan and just under the crossbar into goal. Coinneach Lavine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Callaghan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Dunbrin's Piers Lester made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Callaghan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dunbrin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
