Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gill Cronin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Drumahayre's zone, Scott Quinnless stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddy Hunt came out of the goal and Scott Quinnless tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Coinneach Lavine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Gaynor McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scott Quinnless took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teddy Hunt. Teddy Hunt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Baran Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Teddy Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baird Taylor got free with Teddy Hunt in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 played minutes Dunbrin got a freekick which was hit by Louie McPeter. Baird Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teddy Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baird Taylor in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teddy Hunt saved Drumahayre from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antaine McPhil in the 34th minute of play forced Dunbrin's goalkeeper Nollaig Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nollaig Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abban McGlenn in the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Abban McGlenn hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Baird Taylor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teddy Hunt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Baran Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott Quinnless hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Baird Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Baird Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Teddy Hunt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teddy Hunt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baird Taylor's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Gaynor McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scott Quinnless took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teddy Hunt. Drumahayre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drumahayre's Bragan McJon got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Baird Taylor came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Dunbrin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baird Taylor couldn't finish the play. When Abban McGlenn fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drumahayre's protests and gave Abban McGlenn a yellow card for diving instead. Abban McGlenn kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Coinneach Lavine's late challenge caught a Drumahayre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Coinneach Lavine helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Drumahayre booed when Dunbrin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coinneach Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball.
