Berk MaCollin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Blake Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berk MaCollin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A hard shot 30 in the game by Bodibeua Willson from a close distance when the talented Batt Colwell managed to make a qualified save. Danesfort FC's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Teelin defense, Patty Gough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berkeley Ramsey. The Teelin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkeley Ramsey should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Bodibeua Willson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coileán McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Coileán McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Patty Gough made a precise shot to the right of Berkeley Ramsey. Teelin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torey Murphy was the one to do the kick off. Enda Hutton's late challenge caught a Teelin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enda Hutton helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Teelin booed when Danesfort FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enda Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Reidy Cassin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Danesfort FC's Batt Colwell. Batt Colwell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blake Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Teelin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coileán McIan to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes, Branagain Gillmour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teelin and the Danesfort FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, one of Teelin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Teelin. 84 minutes into the game, Enda Hutton threw the ball into play from the sideline. Teelin's Kealan McCready quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bodibeua Willson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Batt Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bodibeua Willson in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Danesfort FC's zone, Bodibeua Willson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batt Colwell came out of the goal and Bodibeua Willson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Danesfort FC defense, Bodibeua Willson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batt Colwell. The Danesfort FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batt Colwell should have stopped the shot.
