Abban McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Britain Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abban McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Abban McGlenn came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Drumahayre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abban McGlenn couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Gill Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britain Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falprobog Utd's Beartlai Ghee got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Hunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beartlai Ghee in the 45th minute of play. Britain Mulvihill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gill Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gill Cronin to make the kick off. Falprobog Utd's Britain Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abban McGlenn in the 59th minute of play. Teddy Hunt made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Seoirse Rutherford sent off a good shot on target. Abban McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rorey McOliver during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Britain Mulvihill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gill Cronin's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Abban McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Britain Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seoirse Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Hunt having to interfere. When Falprobog Utd's Beartlai Ghee in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drumahayre's goalie prevented a goal. Teddy Hunt made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Seoirse Rutherford sent off a good shot on target. Falprobog Utd's Britain Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gill Cronin in the 95th minute of play. Falprobog Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
