Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Harrington Quinnless took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harrington Quinnless fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkeley Ramsey having to interfere. Teelin's Berkeley Ramsey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Teelin from getting a goal against them. Bodibeua Willson struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Cahir Doherty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teelin. If Blake Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berkeley Ramsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derry Doherty in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Teelin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fionn McNamara to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, Finglas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derin Mullan to maneuver through the defense. When Teelin's Bodibeua Willson in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finglas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Bodibeua Willson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finglas AFC's Cahir Doherty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 played minutes Teelin got a freekick which was hit by Reidy Cassin. In the 46th minute, Finglas AFC's Roordan McSteve ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berkeley Ramsey. Berkeley Ramsey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bodibeua Willson was the one to do the kick off. Bodibeua Willson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Cahir Doherty 60 minutes into the match. Harrington Quinnless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Teelin's zone, Roordan McSteve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkeley Ramsey came out of the goal and Roordan McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Teelin's Derin Walker got a free kick in the 81st minute. Derin Walker charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Derin Walker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Teelin got a freekick which was hit by Derin Walker. Cahir Doherty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bodibeua Willson in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blake Coyle in the 96th minute of play forced Finglas AFC's goalkeeper Cahir Doherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Teelin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
