After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Paud Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunnagippaun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paud Frankson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Callaghan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bola Jameson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paud Frankson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Callaghan saved Gortnakilly from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blanche McJon during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paud Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
