Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bivitas Cassin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Killinkere's Boland Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Ghee in the 4th minute of play. Sherlock McCollion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Séamus McPaul's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Killinkere's Séamus McPaul in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cappeen AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes, Samueil McCollion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killinkere and the Cappeen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Killinkere got a freekick which was hit by Samueil McCollion. When Bryan Ghee got free in front of the goal in the 26th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Boland Bayes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Bivitas Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cappeen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bivitas Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boland Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rian McWill during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cappeen AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rian McWill hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Samueil McCollion got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Samueil McCollion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sherlock McCollion having to interfere. Boland Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Ghee , who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Séamus McPaul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cappeen AFC's Sherlock McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Séamus McPaul in the 51st minute of play. After 56 played minutes Killinkere got a freekick which was hit by Brendanus Callaghan. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bivitas Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cappeen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bivitas Cassin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boland Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sherlock McCollion came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Killinkere's Samueil McCollion. But to his dismay, Samueil McCollion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Samueil McCollion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sherlock McCollion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Bivitas Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boland Bayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Bivadi McWill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Killinkere's goalkeeper Boland Bayes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Ghee . Boland Bayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivitas Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sherlock McCollion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samueil McCollion went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Killinkere's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
