Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pawd Rogers got the match started through his kick off. When Pearse McNamee fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cappanagh Utd's protests and gave Pearse McNamee a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cappanagh Utd's zone, Triain Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braonain Robinson came out of the goal and Triain Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Byrne Molloy kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Bunduvowen's Braoin McAlphie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braonain Robinson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bunduvowen reached it. Braonain Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawd Rogers in the 20th minute of the match. Berk Tracy charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berk Tracy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Bunduvowen got a freekick which was hit by Berk Tracy. After having played for 23 minutes, Beckett Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cappanagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beckett Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rownun Lester was a little too slow when Beothach McJohn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match, Beothach McJohn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rownun Lester saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Triain Kirby notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cappanagh Utd's Braonain Robinson. Braonain Robinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beckett Coyle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rownun Lester made a huge save. In the 40th minute Beothach McJohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rownun Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beothach McJohn made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Beckett Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rownun Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play Bunduvowen's Berk Tracy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th minute, Daniel Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Triain Kirby could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Braonain Robinson however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Cappanagh Utd's Beothach McJohn got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Beothach McJohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rownun Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beothach McJohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
