Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shamus McMichel made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Ballymaquiff Utd defense, Donoghue Doyle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abban McCollion. The Ballymaquiff Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abban McCollion should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes, Gealan O'Neill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardhoom FC and the Ballymaquiff Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ardhoom FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Colmcille Duggan held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 30th minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post. Hewney Hamilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Ballymaquiff Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Dimson to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barhan Prunty to make the kick off. Fachtna Quinnless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ballymaquiff Utd's Bedilia Gillmour got a free kick in the 56th minute. Abban McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barhan Prunty in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Ballymaquiff Utd getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Berry Dimson hit a great ball. Abban McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ardhoom FC booed when Ballymaquiff Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedilia Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fachtna Quinnless got free with Abban McCollion in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ballymaquiff Utd getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Blathmacc McBjarton hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Ballymaquiff Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Barhan Prunty came free, but Abban McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gealan O'Neill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardhoom FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gealan O'Neill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abban McCollion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ardhoom FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
