Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roland McJames got the match started through his kick off. Bearach Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kieran Benson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Roland McJames who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ventry's Timothy Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Benjamin McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kirikee Utd's zone, Benjamin McPaul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Benson came out of the goal and Benjamin McPaul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Benjamin McPaul fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kieran Benson, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Ventry's Kieran Benson threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bearach Sheridan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Declan McLiam hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Benjamin McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Benson having to interfere. Kieran Benson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ventry's Benjamin McPaul. But to his dismay, Benjamin McPaul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benjamin McPaul made the kick off in the second half. Ventry's Benjamin McPaul got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pauric Murphy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. Pauric Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Roland McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Ventry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bearach Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Benjamin McPaul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kieran Benson was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Ventry's Timothy Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paudraig Sheridan in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kirikee Utd's zone, Benjamin McPaul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Benson came out of the goal and Benjamin McPaul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herich McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kirikee Utd getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Paudraig Sheridan hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Benjamin McPaul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kieran Benson. Kirikee Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin McPaul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 73rd minute, Herich McPaul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Gilbeirt Ghee in the 76th minute really tested Timothy Taylor's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Roland McJames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirikee Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland McJames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ventry's Timothy Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland McJames in the 82nd minute of play. If Benjamin McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Benjamin McPaul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kieran Benson. Kirikee Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin McPaul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 93 minutes of play, Kirikee Utd's Timmons Tierney made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timothy Taylor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute of the match Binnech John shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timothy Taylor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ventry fully deserved thier win.
