Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballymaquiff Utd's Shamus McMichel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beagan Kirby's late challenge caught a Ballymaquiff Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beagan Kirby helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Drumlish's Beagan Kirby got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Aaden McMichel made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ballymaquiff Utd's Fionn Beckett. A collision led to Ballymaquiff Utd getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Berry Dimson hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Dillon Myler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballymaquiff Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dillon Myler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abban McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aban Deans in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ballymaquiff Utd's Shamus McMichel got a free kick in the 16th minute. Shamus McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donegan Harkin having to interfere. Abban McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beagan Kirby in the 22nd minute of play. If Aban Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaden McMichel got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brasil Dunne. Abban McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brasil Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Aban Deans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Abban McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Aban Deans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abban McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braden McJohnny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abban McCollion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aban Deans to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ballymaquiff Utd got a freekick which was hit by Hewney Hamilton. Abban McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aban Deans in the 52nd minute of play. Abban McCollion made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bowen Harkin sent off a good shot on target. Aban Deans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abban McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan Kirby came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abban McCollion could save by the left post. When Bedilia Gillmour fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballymaquiff Utd's protests and gave Bedilia Gillmour a yellow card for diving instead. Bedilia Gillmour kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes, Drumlish's Casey Lester shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abban McCollion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drumlish reached it. In the 68th match minute, Ballymaquiff Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillon Myler to maneuver through the defense. Abban McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aban Deans in the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Drumlish's Bowen Harkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abban McCollion. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Drumlish left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ballymaquiff Utd.
