Terence McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phelim Morrison having to interfere. Barram Keegan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Phelim Morrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baltyboys AFC. After 12 minutes, Barran Martyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenbonniv and the Baltyboys AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes, Baltyboys AFC's Lewy Dempsey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phelim Morrison came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baltyboys AFC reached it. In the 15th minute, Sherlock Ferguson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phelim Morrison was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Breadan Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Terence McFrancise came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Baltyboys AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terence McFrancise couldn't finish the play. Sherlock Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Gaynor Robinson from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Branagain Doherty's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Phelim Morrison came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Baltyboys AFC's Terence McFrancise. But to his dismay, Terence McFrancise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terence McFrancise to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Terence McFrancise reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Phelim Morrison. The goal made the score 0-3. If Terence McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Baltyboys AFC booed when Glenbonniv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiachra MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltyboys AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lewy Dempsey in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Turlough McPaul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baltyboys AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenbonniv the free kick. After a rather tough play, Baltyboys AFC's Turlough McPaul got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Barran Martyn was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. In the 65th minute, Barran Martyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branagain Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee McStephen in the 70th minute of play. When Baltyboys AFC's Terence McFrancise in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glenbonniv's goalie prevented a goal. Sherlock Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiachra MaCollin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Baltyboys AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
