Spectators: 6767 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) Inniskeen FC's Boynton Willson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gordon McTom might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heron Ramsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gordon McTom ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Milestown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Boynton Willson came free, but Ryan Costello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sherlock MaCollin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ryan Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Boynton Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Inniskeen FC's Boynton Willson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryan Costello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Deans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Milestown AFC's zone, Sherlock MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Costello came out of the goal and Sherlock MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Ryan Costello managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Inniskeen FC's Sherlock MaCollin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Beolagh Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bressal Dimson during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boynton Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ryan Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sherlock MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Costello having to interfere. In the 48th minute Boynton Willson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beolagh Caffey to strike the kick off in the second half. Ryan Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boynton Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Benjamin Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Leonard Dillon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heron Ramsey skillfully saved the ball. Heron Ramsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gordon McTom in the 61st minute. When Milestown AFC's Beolagh Caffey in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inniskeen FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Inniskeen FC's zone, Beolagh Caffey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heron Ramsey came out of the goal and Beolagh Caffey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordon McTom 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heron Ramsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Boynton Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ryan Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Sean Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gordon McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beolagh Caffey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Heron Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inniskeen FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Milestown AFC for a fine match.
